~ First Steps - 101 ~

Structured lessons designed to introduce students to a mix of drawing, shading, colour mixing & brush techniques.

This programme is designed around one simple question - "What was I wanting (& needing) in Art Lessons when I first started out on my Arty journey?

I feel a wee bit like a magician's cheat ‘unmystifing’ for students  just how 'learnable' many art techniques are but hey,

I can live with that :-)

Wednesdays 9.30-12 noon

~ First Steps - 102 ~

Building upon what we learned in Term 1, this term builds on our understanding of composition and introduces a number of 'subjects' including still life, landscapes to furry friend painting.

Sorry - no 102 this term 😢

~ Different Strokes ~

Working on your own material with individualised support to encourage & motivate you as you explore, play, experiment & create your unique works of Art.

Each week we expand our arty knowledge with a Sneak Peek at an 'ism', a technique, an Artist...(etc)
